ucollect acquired Hybrid Grading Approach (HGA) in 2025. This acquisition marks a major step forward for collectors, investors, and dealers who are tired of excessive fees, inconsistent grading, fraud, and inefficiencies that have plagued the industry for decades.

Our grading philosophy is careful, methodical, and transparent. We are working toward flat-fee pricing, premium housings, and turnaround times under 1-2 weeks depending on the quantity. That means your cards can be graded and listed for sale on ucollect.com in days—not months, and certainly not at luxury prices.
Between now and launch, HGA is undergoing a full redesign and integration into ucollect, including:
- Ultra-clear, premium graded housings supporting nearly all card sizes—including 5-card foldout booklets, tri-fold booklets, and thick cleat cards—making this the most comprehensive housing lineup in the industry
- New labels with patent-pending security features that permanently link the card, label, and housing to prevent tampering
- Full grade transparency with detailed subgrades included at no additional cost
- Signature grading included at no cost
For the first time, buyers and sellers will be able to communicate directly with no artificial restrictions—on a platform built to protect both sides. We allow you to call each other if you like, email each other or negotiate directly but still have the transaction flow through ucollect. We handle everything collectors hate dealing with: payments, shipping, insurance, fraud prevention, and logistics.
Our fees are so low, we believe it will cost more to sell off-platform thus keeping collectors here for decades to come.
